Vicarage Road is a famous football stadium in Watford, home to the Premier League club, Watford FC. Constructed in 1922 the stadium has a long and storied history and has also been home to fellow football club Wealdstone FC, as well as Rugby Union side, Saracens.
The stadium has improved relatively recently, with the opening of the Sir Elton John Stand on the East side, and enhanced facilities, décor and other general improvements that make the stadium look very smart indeed.
The two main stands are named after club legends, Sir Elton John and Graham Taylor, the owner and manager during the team’s most successful period. Elton John is, of course, the most famous supporter and maintains an active role.
The Vic, as it is often referred to, has a relatively modest capacity of approximately 22,000. However, thanks to its cantilever roofs, each seat provides excellent unobstructed views.
Corporate Hospitality packages all take place within the Graham Taylor Stand, all of which have outstanding views of the pitch. There is a good selection of options to choose from that should satisfy most needs.
Vicarage Road is located within a short walking distance from Watford’s High Street. The walk west from the town centre takes no more than 10 minutes.
