Turf Moor is one of the oldest football grounds in England (only Preston North End’s Deepdale is older), founded in 1883 the club is home to Burnley FC who moved in shortly after their formation just 9 months prior.
The stadium was last refurbished during the 1990s when all-seater stands were constructed, whilst not as modern as other similar grounds Turf Moor retains a lot of character, such as wooden seats in the older stands and numerous pillars.
Turf Moor is well-loved by the fans who create an amazing atmosphere within whilst watching the Clarets thanks in large part to the good acoustics though this is often intimidating for visiting away fans.
Aside from football matches the stadium does not cater to many other events, however, the grounds many suites are available to hire for conferences and other special occasions such as weddings.
Hospitality Options to Turf Moor are quite limited with only two main lounges, however, the experiences found within are memorable and in keeping with a club of such esteem.
Turf Moor is based in the town of Burnley, west of Leeds and North of Manchester.
