Previously known as the SWALEC Stadium, through sponsorship reasons, the grounds have now reverted to their original name, which it inherits from the expansive Sophia Gardens park, close to the city centre and the River Taff it enjoys a wealth of public transport options.
Home of Glamorgan County Cricket Club since 1967, the grounds were renovated and expanded, turning it into a world-class stadium and in 2009 became the 100th cricket ground to stage Test cricket.
Sophia Gardens hosts much more than cricket, from major outdoor concerts to fireworks nights and darts events there are a wealth of reasons to visit, and you can expect a warm Welsh welcome when you do.
Corporate Hospitality options at the stadium focus on providing unrestricted panoramic views of the pitch, with exceptional food and drink alongside a first-class atmosphere that is guaranteed to impress.
