Built during the early 1920s Selhurst Park is based on the famous Scottish architect Archibald Leitch’s designs. Opened by the Lord Mayor of London on 30th August 1924 the stadium has had many renovations over the years increasing capacity, improving its facilities, and sprucing up its appearance.
The stadium is famously home to Crystal Palace FC, their fourth venue since their inception which has seen them through the good times and the bad, who are currently enjoying another season in the Premier League.
The atmosphere on matchdays inside the stadium is famously one of the best at any top club, the noise created by home fans on cup games is electric, with a programme of loud music pre-match encouraging the fans to engage with the team.
Selhurst Park is not often used for other types of events though it was used as part of the 1948 Summer Olympics and has hosted concerts in its past. These days the facilities are used for conferences and sporting dinners and are also available to hire privately.
Corporate Hospitality packages offer an excellent way for fans to attend a home fixture whilst enjoying comfortable surrounds and all-inclusive dining. Selhurst Park hospitality range is not as comprehensive as some of its competitors; however, the facilities are excellent and decorated to a high standard.
Selhurst Park is located south of London and benefits from good transport links from TfL.
