The Sky Suite is a great private VIP experience within the Stadio Olimpico during an international. These boxes have a maximum capacity of 12 and are designed to be taken exclusively.

Inside the box a sumptuous pre-match menu is delivered, showcasing the local produce with traditional dishes, alongside expertly paired local white and red wines.

The match is watched from inside the box, with a big screen provided to make sure those all-important moments are not missed.

Sky Suite (Box) Hospitality Critic Review

Introduction

The Sky Suites in the Stadio Olimpico are what we refer to elsewhere as Corporate Executive Boxes, which are exclusive intimate spaces to entertain important customers. These boxes are, however, presented more as lounge boxes (as opposed to formal dining) and unfortunately viewing is from behind glass. There are 8 Sky Suites at the Stadio Olimpico, Rome’s premier stadium, and although there are shortcomings the boxes remain a prestigious entertaining option.

Location

The boxes are situated at the very top of the Monte Mario Stand, and although being centrally located they seem very remote from the action below.

Facility/Décor

The suites are very smart with lounge seating, a buffet & drinks area, and a TV monitor.

Private Suites

Private suites are available for groups of 10-12 guests.

Admission

Viewing from the Sky Suites is on high stools behind glass, and some may find this lacks the special atmosphere of being seated outside in the stadium itself. High stools can be uncomfortable after a while, however, there is always the option to stand or get a drink from the bar.

Catering

The hospitality facility opens 2 hrs before kick-off, which is not a great deal of time for reception and lunch, which is a pity. Lunch consists of a buffet showcasing local and classic Italian cuisine. Coffee is served during half-time and post-match snacks are served.

Drinks

A glass of Prosecco is offered on arrival and local wines are served during lunch. Drinks are available post-match for 60 minutes. Please note that there is no Prosecco served after the reception and there are no spirits.

Service

Service is left to the waiting staff, there is not a formal hostess service.

Entertainment

There are no guest-speakers in this facility or visits from rugby ambassadors.

Car Parking

Car park passes are provided on a 1:3 basis.

Dress Code

The majority of hospitality options have no strict dress codes, however; it is advised to dress smart casual, and according to weather conditions as match seats are outside.

Getting There

The Stadio Olimpico is a public transport destination, it is recommended to use Metro Line A (from Termini Train Station) following the directions to Ottaviano Station and go down to the terminus one (the end of the line). Then take the bus line 32 Piazzale della Farnesina.
