The Executive Area Lounge represents a fantastic opportunity to relax, engage with clients and enjoy a masterful day of culinary delights.

The facility enjoys a captivating meet and greets with two Italian rugby players, alongside a gastronomic buffet and selection of local white & red wines.

Thanks to its location guests have direct access to their seats, and as a bonus, draft beer is served in the stand during the match.

Executive Area Lounge Hospitality Critic Review

Introduction

The Executive Area is a popular hospitality facility, situated in the Monte Mario Stand. In essence, the package is similar to the Piazza Italia facility except the match seating is closer to the 22m as opposed to being seated centrally.

Location

The main stand in the Stadio Olimpico is the Tribuna Monte Mario, which is named after the Monte Mario hill in the NW of Rome. The stand is side-on to the action and has a capacity of 16,500 out of a stadium capacity of 70,634.

Facility/Décor

The suite is a standard functional space, with direct access to your seats in the stadium.

Private Tables

Branded corporate round tables are provided but guests may be required to share a table. Please note that seating after the match is casual.

Admission

The seats are located in an excellent section of the Monte Mario Stand, that being Tribuna D’Onore Laterale (The Lateral Honour Stand). These are prime seats situated close to the 22m line, in the equivalent of the Middle Tier. More impressively the D’Onore is split into small exclusive outdoor areas (which the Italians refer to as “boxes”, Palchi Laterale), which allow groups of 8 guests to have their own mini-bar during the match and a small TV screen! There is a surcharge applied for groups requiring box-seating of approx. €50 per person. Alternatively, you will have excellent seats in the D’Onore Laterale.

Catering

The hospitality facility opens 2 hrs before kick-off, which is not a great deal of time for reception and lunch, which is a pity considering the efforts made to present the hospitality. Lunch consists of a buffet showcasing local and classic Italian cuisine. Coffee is served during half-time and post-match traditional patisserie is served.

Drinks

A glass of Prosecco is offered on arrival and local wines are served during lunch. Draught beers are served to your seats during the match, which is a nice touch. Drinks are available post-match for 60 minutes. Please note that there is no Prosecco served after the reception and there are no spirits.

Service

Service is left to the waiting staff, there is not a formal hostess service.

Entertainment

There are no guest-speakers however there is an opportunity to meet a couple of past Italian players.

Audio-Visual

There are a few TV monitors in elevated locations in the suite, and of course a small monitor in your private seating “box” if you choose to upgrade.

Car Parking

Car park passes are provided on a 1:4 basis.

Dress Code

The majority of hospitality options have no strict dress codes, however; it is advised to dress smart casual, and according to weather conditions as match seats are outside.

Getting There

The Stadio Olimpico is a public transport destination, it is recommended to use Metro Line A (from Termini Train Station) following the directions to Ottaviano Station and go down to the terminus one (the end of the line). Then take the bus line 32 Piazzale della Farnesina.
