The French Open (sometimes referred to as Roland-Garros), is the second of the four annual Grand Slam tournaments and is the only one to be played on clay.
Due to its surface, the tournament is considered to be the most physically demanding of the Grand Slams, as the play is a lot slower and the ball bounces higher, making it notoriously difficult for those used to a faster surface like grass.
The atmosphere within the grounds is incredibly special, with this being one of most attended tennis tournaments, cries of “Allez!” and “Olé!” are not uncommon and, whether you are sat inside the court or in the grounds it is hard not to feel part of the occasion.
The main show court, the Philippe-Chatrier Court, is equipped with a fully retractable roof which guarantees play, with lighting enabling matches to continue well after nightfall.
The Comptoir Philippe-Chatrier hospitality option is an entry level package, providing a lunch cocktail reception and category 1 gold seats on the Philippe-Chatrier court.
