The Silverstone Classic is one of the most popular race meets in the motorsport calendar. Over a three-day weekend, hundreds of historic cars take to the famous track for over 20 races in a glorious celebration of heritage.
The world’s biggest classic motor racing festival has moved to a new date for 2022, taking advantage of the August bank holiday to open the event to even more motoring purists, putting them closer than ever before to over 1,000 historic cars on the iconic track.
On the track, Friday is typically all about qualifying but of particular note is the live music on stage in the evening with headliners The Brand New Heavies. Saturday hosts a packed schedule of races with historic touring cars (1966-1990), F1 cars (1966-1985) and the Classic Mini Challenge. Finally, Sunday celebrates Pre-War sports cars (the 1920s and 30s)
