The Private Suites are, in essence, private corporate hospitality boxes situated in three of the four stands around the Principality Stadium. There are over 100 hospitality boxes in the stadium; however, most of the boxes are sold on an annual basis, nevertheless, several boxes are still available for match-day hospitality. The suites offer good value considering their undoubted prestige and location, although the package offering is a little spare.
These Private Suites need to be distinguished from the Platinum Plus Suites, which are those suites that are centrally located. The remaining Private Suites will tend to be located towards the corners of the East & West Stands (side-on to the action), or in the South Stand (which is situated behind the posts). The suites are situated at the top of the East, West & South Middle Stands on the Hospitality Box Level (the prestigious Level 5) - the Middle Tier is the premium area to view rugby in the Principality Stadium.
The suites are completely glass-fronted, affording superb views of the hallowed turf. They are decorated to a high standard; however, some are more luxurious than others, due to previous refurbishments carried out by annual box-holders. Most offer a rectangle dining table to seat 12 guests. There is a private bar in each suite.
Private suites are available for 12 guests, up to a maximum of 16 guests. There are a few ‘double’ boxes that can accommodate up to 32 guests.
The seats are situated on a private balcony, directly in front of the suites through a glass sliding door. Convenient access to the suites is available throughout the day. There are 12 balcony seats allocated to every suite, additional guests (up to 4 extra) will need to view the match sitting on high stools behind the glass window.
Catering consists of a three-course luncheon followed by a post-match cheeseboard.
You will enjoy a complimentary bar of wines, beers, and soft drinks. Please note that champagne or spirits are not included.
Drinks are served by the waiting staff, there is no hostess service.
There are no guest speakers or rugby ambassadors included in this package.
There is a TV monitor in each suite.
There are no car park passes included in this package, which means guests will have to use public transport, taxis, or source parking themselves Cardiff City Centre. Annual box holders are usually offered one car park space.
A souvenir match programme is included.
Most hospitality options have no strict dress codes, however, smart casual is generally adopted (no trainers), it is advised to dress for the weather.
GPS users can get to Principality Stadium using the postcode CF10 1NS. There is little parking at the Stadium, however, there are several NCP car parks nearby, or guests are encouraged to use public transport. The closest train station is Cardiff Central, a short 5-minute walk to the Stadium.
