The Prestige Package is an excellent off-site hospitality package, which is available in the 3-star Angel Hotel, providing decent value for money compared to facilities inside the stadium, as well as fabulous hostess service. The Prestige Package takes place in the Prince of Wales Suite, on the ground floor of the hotel, which has a capacity of 120 guests (although this package is generally limited to 100 guests).
The Angel Hotel is an iconic Welsh rugby hotel, ideally situated directly opposite the East Stand of the Principality Stadium in Westgate Street. This road is closed to traffic several hours before kick-off so you can enjoy the pre-match hustle and bustle. You can access the hospitality suites through a private entrance on Westgate Street, which allows you to avoid the rugby crowds that congregate in the hotel lobby on match days.
The Prince of Wales Suite enjoys natural light and is a smart hospitality suite. Guests are seated on round tables. The hotel hospitality suites have access to private toilet & cloakroom facilities separate from the public areas.
Private tables are available for 8-12 guests, smaller groups are required to share a table.
The Prestige Package includes superb half-way line seats situated in the West Lower Stand. Please note however that the lower tier of the Principality Stadium is quite shallow and does not afford a lofty elevated view. It will be necessary to leave the suite in plenty of time prior to kick-off because access to the West Stand is the opposite side of the stadium to the Angel Hotel and there will also be queues at the turnstiles.
Catering consists of a four-course luncheon followed by a post-match hot supper.
You will enjoy a Champagne reception followed by a complimentary bar that also includes Champagne.
There is a full hostess service, which enhances the drinks service.
An MC host and ruby legend guest speaker are included in this package.
There are ample TV screens in the suite that allows guests to keep in touch with other sporting events and video highlights.
There are no car park passes included in this package, which means guests will have to use public transport, taxis, or source parking themselves Cardiff City Centre. Hotel car parking is restricted to hotel room guests.
A souvenir match programme is included as well as a souvenir gift.
Most hospitality options have no strict dress codes, however, smart casual is generally adopted (no trainers), it is advised to dress for the weather.
GPS users can get to Principality Stadium using the postcode CF10 1NS. There is little parking at the Stadium, however, there are several NCP car parks nearby, or guests are encouraged to use public transport. The closest train station is Cardiff Central, a short 5-minute walk to the Stadium.
