Henley Royal Regatta is rightly regarded as the most famous and prestigious Regatta in the world, held annually at the start of July since its inception in 1839.
The Regatta takes place over five days encompassing hundreds of races, enjoying a unique position in rowing where it predates both the major rowing governing bodies and so stages a knock-out draw with only two boats racing at a time.
2021 now extends the Regatta to six days to ensure ten additional events for women can be properly incorporated, in recognition and reflection of the increased participation and success of women in the sport.
Henley Royal Regatta is a huge social event, with wonderful enclosures for visitors to enjoy and an array of hospitality packages that create unique and charming experiences for its spectators.
