The Private Boxes in the Duchess’s Stand at Epsom Racecourse are in a prime location. The Duchess’s Stand is also simply referred to as the Grandstand, it is situated next to the Queen’s Stand. The Stand is the newest stand at Epsom, being completed in 2009. It has been constructed on a natural hill, allowing the ground level to cascade as viewing steps down the gradient. There are only two floors above the public viewing terrace, with the 14 corporate private boxes situated on the top (2nd) level.
The Duchess’s Stand Private Boxes are situated on the 2nd Floor (Top) of the Duchess’s Stand. The boxes are situated just before the Finish Post and have superb views of the finishing straight. There is a giant TV screen opposite the stand to enhance views of the entire race.
The boxes are functional, with floor-to-ceiling windows, a private bar, and a TV monitor. For a formal luncheon, you will have two round tables in the box (for 20 guests).
Private Boxes accommodate 20 guests for a formal sit-down lunch or 25 guests for an informal buffet format. Double boxes are also available for larger groups.
Your admission badge provides access to the Grandstand Enclosure (Duchess’s Stand). Race viewing is standing from the outside balcony (there are no seats), however, there is a small sofa on each private section of the balcony. You also have access to a shared balcony at the rear to view the Parade Ring and the London skyline in the distance.
Canapés are served prior to lunch. You can choose between either a 3-course sit-down luncheon (featuring a British artisan cheeseboard), or a more informal expansive buffet. Afternoon Tea with finger sandwiches and homemade scones will be served later in the day.
There is a full complimentary bar including Champagne, beers, wines, premium spirits, and soft drinks.
You will be allocated private waiting staff, there is not a hostess service.
There is no racing tipster included in this package
Car park passes are allocated on a 1:4 basis.
A Racecard is included and there are Tote betting facilities available.
Hospitality guests are required to follow a smart casual dress code. Jackets, trousers and a collared shire are encouraged.
