×The Blue Riband Room is the home of Chez Roux at Epsom Racecourse in the prestigious Queen’s Stand at Epsom Racecourse, which is the premium enclosure at Epsom, equivalent to the Royal Enclosure at Royal Ascot. Your day includes a bespoke menu designed by legendary father & son chefs Albert and Michel Roux Jr. The Queen’s Stand is a superb design, one of the most impressive stands in British racing. The highly formal, symmetrical design – not unlike a cruise ship – emphasises the orientation directly onto the finishing line and across the course towards the race start. Natural daylight floods the building and the style is contemporary. Chez Roux has a capacity of approx. 350 guests.
Chez Roux is located on the 1st Floor (of 4) of the Queen’s Stand. It overlooks the Finish Post and the finishing straight.
Chez Roux has floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing stunning views of the racecourse and Epsom Downs. It has two large viewing balconies, one directly opposite the Winning Post & Winner’s Enclosure and the other at the rear of the suite, overlooking the Parade Ring. There are several unattractive supporting pillars in the room.
Private tables are available for 2 guests or more.
Your admission badge provides access to both the Queen’s Stand and the adjacent Grandstand (Duchess’s Stand). Race viewing is standing from the outside balcony (there are no seats).
There is a canapés reception followed by a 4-course à la carte ‘Michelin-styled’ menu, designed by Albert Roux OBE, Michel Roux Jnr & Emily Roux; Amuse Bouche, Starter, Main, Dessert, including a selection of French Cheeses served from a Chefs table. Later in the day, you can enjoy Afternoon Tea.
There is a full complimentary bar including Champagne, beers, wines, house spirits and soft drinks.
Service is left to the waiting staff, there is not a hostess service, however, the caterers allocate some of their best staff to this facility to ensure a high service level is maintained.
There is no racing tipster included in this package
There are ample TV monitors throughout the facility.
Car park passes are allocated on a 1:4 basis.
A Racecard is included and there are Tote betting facilities available.
On Derby Day, the Queen's Stand becomes a celebration of traditional tailoring. Male guests are required to wear either black or grey morning dress which should include a top hat.
