×The Conduit Restaurant, named after the 2008 winner of the St. Leger (ridden by Frankie Dettori), is situated on the 2nd floor (of 4) of the Lazarus Stand (named after sponsors, Lazarus Properties). The St. Leger is the world’s oldest classic horse race, named after Anthony St Leger, who devised the race in 1776; it is the last of the five English classic races and the longest at 1 mile and 6 furlongs. The Conduit Restaurant has a capacity of approx. 250 guests.
The impressive Lazarus Stand was built in 2007 (replacing the old Yorkshire Stand). It is a five-storey structure and the Conduit Restaurant is ideally situated on Level 2, providing an elevated panoramic view of the racecourse. The Restaurant has a viewing terrace and as a bonus, the terrace has unreserved grandstand seating, where you sit opposite the finishing straight and Winning Post.
The restaurant is a nice dining space with round tables. It is well designed with only a few pillars. There are floor-to-ceiling windows providing an abundance of natural light and excellent views.
Private tables are available for bookings of 2 guests or more.
County Enclosure admission is included, which gives access to all areas.
The Conduit Restaurant offers a Bistro Style 3-Course Menu but does not include Afternoon Tea.
A complimentary bar is included; however Champagne is an extra charge.
Service is left to the dedicated box waiting staff, there is not a hostess service.
There is not a racing tipster included in the package.
There are ample TV monitors in the restaurant.
Car park passes are not included in this package, they can be purchased at an additional cost.
A Racecard is included and there are Tote betting facilities available.
This package provides excellent value for money, however, considering its superb location the package omissions are a little disappointing.
