Dine & View Trackside is a private hospitality chalet situated in the Club 1776 Marquee, where smaller bookings can be made. The St. Leger is the world’s oldest classic horse race, named after Anthony St Leger, who devised the race in 1776; it is the last of the five English classic races and the longest at 1 mile and 6 furlongs.
The Dine & View Trackside Chalet (within Club 1776 Marquee) is situated close to the rails in the centre of the course, opposite the Lazarus (Main) Stand. It is ideally located close to the Winning Post, with views of the finishing straight.
The chalet is a private section of a large marquee, with dining on round tables and a private bar facility. There are floor-to-ceiling windows providing an abundance of natural light. There is a raised viewing terrace directly in front and some garden furniture on the lawns should the weather be kind.
Private tables are available for groups of 6-12 guests.
Admission into the Club 1776 Marquee is included.
Catering consists of a 3-course plated luncheon followed later in the day by a light Afternoon Tea.
There is a welcome drink followed by a complimentary bar, consisting of Prosecco, beers, wines, spirits, and soft drinks. Please note that Champagne is an extra cost.
Service is left to the dedicated waiting staff, there is not a hostess service.
There is not a racing tipster included in the package.
There are TV monitors in the chalet.
Car park passes are included on a 1:2 basis.
A Racecard is included and there are Tote betting facilities available.
This package provides good value for money for a fairly comprehensive package. The location is good close to the Winning Post.
