Chester racecourse’s racing season begins every day with the three-day Boodles May Festival, effortless style and grace meet hard-fought racing action, in an intoxicating blend of British Horse Racing tradition.
Day one of the festival is ‘City Day’, which sees the absolute best contenders go head to head over seven glorious races. The signature races of the day are undoubtedly the Chester Vase Stakes and Cheshire Oaks.
