×Before the overall upgrade in hospitality facilities at Cheltenham, the Panoramic Restaurant was the foremost hospitality facility, however, there are now superior options available elsewhere, which tend to provide better value for money. Nevertheless, if you are looking for an elevated facility that overlooks the Winning Post, and has stunning far-reaching views of the entire racecourse & Cleeve Hill, then look no further.
Situated on Level 5 of the main Grandstand and overlooking the Winning Post, the Panoramic Restaurant is a three-level tiered restaurant. The first two tiers, which are closest to the vast tilted window (to avoid reflections), accommodate private tables of 4 guests, and this enviable window location attracts a price surcharge. The third tier has long tables for 12 guests, and the view of the racing from the far end of the tables is a little restricted unless you stand up. TV monitors on each table are a welcome addition to your viewing experience.
The restaurant has a fairly standard, hospitality suite décor.
A Club Admission ticket is included, which is the premier enclosure at Cheltenham. Race viewing is from your tables.
You can expect to enjoy a high level of catering, with breakfast rolls on arrival followed by a splendid 5-course à-la-carte luncheon and Afternoon Tea.
There are no drinks included in the package price, all drinks are extra from an extensively stocked bar & wine list. Considering the high price you are paying for the package this omission is one of the reasons for our relatively low package rating.
Service throughout is left to the waiting staff. There is not a hostess service.
The package does not include a racing tipster.
There is a small TV monitor on each table, which gives you close-up views of the racing when the horses are not directly below you.
Car park passes are allocated on a 1:2 basis, car parking is situated in the general public areas.
A Racecard is included, and there are Tote betting facilities available.

Officially there is no dress code at Cheltenham, the course recommends dressing for the weather. However, in hospitality areas, gentlemen usually wear a suit or similar, and many ladies choose to wear county-style hats.
The racecourse postcode is GL50 4SH for use with GPS equipment. However, on a race day, customers are strongly advised to follow temporary signs when entering Cheltenham and the local area and not the brown permanent signs.
