×The Festival Restaurant is one of the oldest restaurants at Cheltenham, a traditional hospitality suite that fails to offer great value for money, although it remains popular with customers who like its location within the original footprint of the racecourse.
The restaurant is within a building that leads off the iconic Hall of Fame, which is the main entrance hall into the racecourse, next to the administrative offices. The Festival Restaurant sits behind the Main Grandstand.
There is no special theming, the décor is basic with dining on round tables.
Private Tables are available for ten guests, smaller groups will be asked to share.
A Club Admission ticket is included, which is the premier enclosure at Cheltenham. Please note that the racing cannot be viewed directly from this facility. To view the racing you need to walk a short distance to the tiered steps in the Grandstand.
After morning coffee and biscuits, a 4-course à-la-carte luncheon is served, followed by Afternoon Tea.
Drinks are not included in this package, they are an extra cost, which adversely affects the rating we have given.
Service throughout is left to the waiting staff. There is not a hostess service.
The package does not include a racing tipster.
There are ample TV monitors throughout the facility.
Car park passes are allocated on a 1:2 basis, car parking is situated in the general public areas.
A Racecard is included, and there are Tote betting facilities available.

Officially there is no dress code at Cheltenham, the course recommends dressing for the weather. However, in hospitality areas, gentlemen usually wear a suit or similar, and many ladies choose to wear county-style hats.
The racecourse postcode is GL50 4SH for use with GPS equipment. However, on a race day, customers are strongly advised to follow temporary signs when entering Cheltenham and the local area and not the brown permanent signs.
