×The Vavasour is a popular hospitality suite at the Aviva Stadium, always sure to sell out. It is named after a picturesque square of that name close to the stadium. The space contains a central suite and an east and west wing. The Vavasour East is a section that is not always available for match-day hospitality, it has a fairly small capacity of 100 guests.
The Vavasour is situated at the South end of the stadium on Level 2, which will be on the Lower Tier.
The suite has no direct views of the pitch, however, it is glass-fronted at the rear, with views of Lansdowne Road, so is blessed with natural light. It is a functional suite.
Private tables are available for 10 guests. Smaller groups will need to share a table.
The seats for Vavasour East are invariably allocated in the East Lower Stand in Blocks 103, 106 & 107, side-on to the action. These seat locations tend to be better than those allocated in Vavasour West (West Upper seats). It is a little walk from the suite to the seats, so it is not possible to return to the suite for half-time drinks.
The facility opens 2.5 hrs before kick-off, which seems a little tight for reception and lunch. You can expect to enjoy a 3-course luncheon prior to the match and post-match finger food.
There is a complimentary bar, including fine wines, however, Champagne is not included. The bar is only open for 1-hour after the match has ended.
Service is left to the waiting staff, there is not a formal hostess service.
There is a pre-match celebrity guest speaker, and guests will be delighted when current Irish team players return for a Q&A after the match.
There are a few TV screens in the restaurant to view other sporting events or video highlights, but certainly not enough for all guests to have a view.
There are no car park passes included in this package, which means guests will have to use public transport, taxis, or source parking themselves in the Ballsbridge area.
A souvenir match programme is included as well as Ref Talk for each guest.

Most hospitality options have no strict dress codes, however, smart casual is generally adopted (no trainers), it is advised to dress for the weather.
An exclusion zone operates on matchdays meaning guests must either walk from the city centre (3km) or use public transport. The closest railway station is Lansdowne Road, which is part of the suburban railway in Dublin known as the DART, and Dublin Bus operates a range of services to the area around the ground.
