Throughout the two-day meeting, guests can expect to see the best horses, jockeys, owners, and trainers battle it out for their share of the glory, alongside colourful fashion and fantastic food and drink.
Day one of the meet is usually more of an appetiser but, there is plenty of racing action still, with the feature race being the JGR Brown Jack Handicap, named after Brown Jack, a horse that won races at seven different Royal Meetings.
Day two is King George Day, which attracts the best thoroughbreds for the signature race, the Group One King George IV & Queen Elizabeth Stakes. Named after Her Majesty The Queen’s late parents this race is one of the most prestigious in the country and is regularly attended by the Queen.
