Located in Centre Court, the Wingfield Restaurant offers a three-course fixed menu showcasing British ingredients which also comes with wines during your meal.

There is a lovely atmosphere throughout that perfectly matches the buzz and excitement that only the Championships can bring, making this a great accompaniment to the day.

The Wingfield Restaurant Hospitality Critic Review

Introduction

The Wingfield Restaurant is a popular and great-value facility that can be booked in advance by all ticketholders. Only lunch reservations can be made, which includes wines and mineral water (Afternoon Tea can only be booked on the day). The restaurant is named after Walter Wingfield who is recognised as the founder of modern tennis in the nineteenth century.

Location

The Restaurant is located on the first floor of the Centre Court Building, right in the heart of the Wimbledon complex. It overlooks the Tea Lawn below.

Facility/Décor

The restaurant is used as the main staff dining restaurant outside of the Championships, and as such, it does have a department-store restaurant feel about it. However, it is nicely decorated for the Wimbledon fortnight and enjoys good facilities with large windows providing an abundance of natural light.

Private Tables & Suites

Private tables are available for groups of 2-6 guests. Only lunch reservations can be made in advance.

Admission

Reservations do not include a ticket; they can be booked by all ticketholders (General public and debenture holders).

Catering

Catering consists of a mini à la carte three-course luncheon. Wimbledon Afternoon Tea is available on a first-served basis.

Drinks

Lunch reservations include wines and mineral water. Please note that all other drinks are at an extra cost.

Service

There is not a hostess service. The waiting staff attend to drinks orders.

Entertainment

There are no celebrity speakers or appearances in this facility.

Audio-Visual

There are a few TV monitors to help you keep track of the tennis around the grounds. There are not enough TV’s for everyone to have a view.

Car Parking

Car park passes are not included.
