The Champions’ Room Hospitality Critic Review

Introduction

The Champions Room is a stylish restaurant located in the Centre Court Debenture Lounge, providing a fully inclusive hospitality package. With a capacity of only 100 guests, it provides excellent value for money compared to official hospitality packages elsewhere. The restaurant is only available for holders of Centre Court Debenture tickets, and due to its popularity, it is generally oversubscribed, as such, the only way to obtain reservations is by entering the ballot at the beginning of April, via Wimbledon’s official caterer.

Location

The Champions Room is situated in a superb location, on Level 3 of the Centre Court Debenture Holders Lounge, only a short distance to your seats on Centre Court. The restaurant overlooks Courts 14 & 15, with the excitement of the hill just beyond.

Facility/Décor

Wimbledon’s purple theming runs throughout the restaurant providing an elegant feel. It benefits from large windows giving plenty of natural light. The walls are covered, with black & white portraits of past Wimbledon champions. The private tables are rectangular.

Private Tables & Suites

Private tables are available for groups of 2-8 guests. Your table is reserved for the whole day.

Admission

The package does not include a ticket, as it can only be booked by those already holding a Centre Court Debenture seat.

Catering

Catering consists of a sumptuous four-course luncheon and Afternoon Tea.

Inside the Champions' Room

Service

There is not a hostess service, however, the caterers allocate some of their finest waiting staff in this facility.

Entertainment

There are no celebrity speakers or appearances in this facility.

There are a few TV monitors which are discretely recessed into the walls so that you can keep track of the tennis around the grounds. There are not enough TV’s for everyone to have a view.
