The VIP Bar is not strictly a hospitality facility but more of a base-for-the-day with casual seating and a private bar.
The VIP Bar is situated on the ground floor of the Lord Sefton Stand. The Lord Sefton Stand (together with the Earl of Derby) is the newest Grandstand at Aintree with modern facilities. The Stand is located next to the horse walk, where the horses make their way to the course from the Parade Ring.
The facility features a private bar for guests and casual seating.
You cannot reserve tables in this facility. It is informal seating on a first-come basis.
The package comes with a Lord Sefton Terrace admission, from where you can watch the racing from the raised steps or the rails. The Grandstand is situated looking towards the start of the Grand National and back towards the finishing straight. The Terrace is conveniently situated close to the VIP Bar.
There is no catering included with this package.
There is a complimentary bar including beers, wines, and soft drinks. Please note that Champagne and spirits are an extra charge.
The only available service is from the bar staff.
The package includes an entertaining celebrity tipster.
There are a few TV monitors in the facility and a PA system for the tipster.
Car parking is not included in this package.
Tote betting facilities are close by.
There is no official dress code at Aintree Racecourse, although smart is preferable. Hats are optional but frequently worn. Sports clothes and fancy dresses are not permitted for the Grand National meeting.
GPS users can get to Aintree Racecourse using the postcode L9 5AS, then follow signs for parking. If arriving by train, the closest station is Aintree Station, directly opposite the racecourse.
